بعد أن ودَّعنا جميعا قبل يومين، رحل العروبي ليث شبيلات، وكأنه كان يعرف موعده مع القدر. عرفته معارضاً بلا تردد للنظام الحاكم ودفع من عمره للسجن ومن جسمه للتعذيب والاعتداء، ولكن بقي الجسدبروحانيته صلباً. كان مؤمناً ولم يكن من قوى الدين السياسي. وقف مع العراق حينما غزاها عديد الأعداء دون أن يتوه، وما أكثر من تاهوا بل ومن غزوه بقصدعسكريا وسياسيا وثقافياُ وإعلامياً، ووقف مع سوريا كما وقف مع العراق، وبقي عربياً أردنيا فلسطينياً حتى رعشته الأخيرة وخاصة في جمعية مناهضة الصهيونية والعنصرية . وهل نقول فيك ابا فرحات غير ما قاله جدنا المتنبي: “نُعدُّ المشرفية والعوالي…وتقتلنا المنون بلا قِتالِ”. لروحك السلام والطمأنينة التي بدت على محياك في طلَّتك الأخيرة، والمجد لنشامى الأردن الذين يقاتلون الفساد والضيم الآن في كل ساح.
